Lumileds Luxeon Rebel chips produce an intense reliable light source.
This blue light is converted to white light via a unique Corrective
Cold Phosphor layer.

reflectors combine with the Xicato module to produce unprecedented
output and consistency.

Phosphor Technology
At the centre of the
optic are the blue LEDs. A tailored phosphor coating is then
selected for each module to correct it to the required colour
temperature and colour rendering. This guarantees the colour
consistency to within 2 SDCMs over the life of the module. The
phosphor coating is remote from the LED chips and runs at up to 60°C
less than a standard white chip. This ensures an unprecedented, less
than 5% light depreciation over 50,000 hours. An additional benefit
of the cool phosphor temperature is the ability to produce a ‘True
Colour’ CRI 98 module – a benefit unmatched by any long life
artificial light source.
